Abstract:
A method for analyzing bone growth stages according to one embodiment of the present application comprises the steps of: acquiring a medical image including a bone area; detecting regions of interest from the medical image; calculating a skeletal maturity index for each region of interest; calculating a temporary growth stage on the basis of the skeletal maturity index; calculating bone age from the entire area of the medical image; acquiring correlation information indicating the correlation between the bone age and the bone growth stage, and calculating a reference growth stage corresponding to the calculated bone age by using the correlation information; and calculating final growth stage information of bone on the basis of the temporary growth stage and the reference growth stage.
