Abstract:
The present application provides a method and an apparatus for acquiring link quality, comprising: a session management network element determining a monitored link, the monitored link being used to detect the quality of service of a service path between a first communication device and a second communication device; the session management network element sending a first link quality reporting request to a first device, the first link quality reporting request being used to instruct the first device to report quality of service information concerning the service path when satisfying a reporting policy, the first device including the first communication device and/or the second communication device; the session management network element receiving a first link quality notification message from the first device, the first link quality notification message including the quality of service information and the identifier of the monitored link, so that the first device reports the quality of service information concerning the service path when satisfying the reporting policy, thereby facilitating the acquisition of network performance at a network side.
