The present invention provides a method and apparatus for acquiring sales information of a vending machine, and a vending machine. The method for acquiring sales information of a vending machine comprises: S1, when there is a commodity sold from a vending machine, acquiring an image of the sold commodity and/or acquiring an image of an operation area of the vending machine when a purchaser of the sold commodity triggers a commodity delivery instruction; S2, according to the acquired image, identifying commodity information of the sold commodity; and S3, recording the identified commodity information of the sold commodity, and including the recorded content into sales statistic data of the vending machine. By means of the method for acquiring sales information of a vending machine, sales information of the vending machine can be effectively acquired, inventory management and maintenance can be better performed on the vending machine, the requirements of purchasers are analyzed and met to a greater extent, and the commodity sales volume of the vending machine is improved.
