Abstract:

Provided in the embodiments of the present invention are a method and apparatus for channel competition. The apparatus for channel competition in the present invention belongs to a basic service set BSS; the BSS comprises an access point AP and at least one first station STA; both the AP and the at least one first STA take part in channel competition; the apparatus is the AP or any of the first STA, and comprises: a sensing module for sensing a channel; and a competing module for competing for the channel; centralized control and scheduling is executed through the AP to enable at least one network device in the BBS to use the channel transmission data. The present invention solves the problem of low success rate in BSS channel competition in a WLAN system.
