Abstract:
Provided in the disclosure are a method and an apparatus for configuring a router independently of the physical interface of a router device, which relate to mobile communication technology. The method provided in the disclosure comprises: after a router device is started, creating one or more virtual interfaces according to a networking plan, and performing a service configuration on each created virtual interface; after the physical interface actually used by each service is determined during actual networking, mapping, according to the service configuration on each virtual interface, the virtual interface onto the corresponding physical interfaces. Further provided in the disclosure is an apparatus for configuring a router. The technical solution of the present application is convenient to configure, and simpler and faster to operate when if for some reason it is necessary to replace a physical interface decreasing the workload for network maintenance personnel, and simplifying network maintenance.
