Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling a virtual object to use a virtual prop, and a terminal and a medium, which belong to the technical field of virtual scenes. The method comprises: in response to a trigger operation on a target prop control, displaying a throw trajectory setting control, wherein the target prop control is a use control corresponding to an air-drop-type virtual prop, and the throw trajectory setting control displays a virtual environment map; in response to a gesture operation on the throw trajectory setting control, displaying a target throw trajectory corresponding to the air-drop-type virtual prop in the virtual environment map, wherein the gesture operation comprises a first operation position and a second operation position, and the target throw trajectory passes through the first operation position and the second operation position; and displaying, in a virtual environment, the air-drop-type virtual prop that is thrown along the target throw trajectory. By means of the method, a throw range of a virtual prop is enlarged, such that other virtual objects cannot easily elude the throw range of the virtual prop, thereby improving the hit rate of the virtual prop.
