Abstract:
A method for de-quantization of transform coefficients, comprising: determining, using classification information, the size of a unit to be processed corresponding to a first transform coefficient set, and then determining a quantization adjustment factor of the first transform coefficient set according to the size of the unit to be processed and a first preset algorithm, wherein the first preset algorithm enables the quantization adjustment factor to decrease as the size of the unit to be processed decreases; and performing de-quantization processing on transform coefficients in the first transform coefficient set using the quantization adjustment factor according to a second preset algorithm. On the basis of the method for de-quantization of transform coefficients, a decoding device adaptively determines a quantization adjustment factor of a first transform coefficient set according to the size of a unit to be processed, and then performs de-quantization processing on transform coefficients in the first transform coefficient set using the determined quantization adjustment factor. The encoding efficiency can be improved because no quantization step size adjustment information needs to be carried in the code stream transmitted by an encoding device. Also disclosed are a corresponding apparatus and a decoding device.
