Abstract:
A method and device for determining channel information, the method comprising: a terminal device determines first channel information between the terminal device and a network device according to a downlink reference signal from the network device, and is then able to determine feedback information according to the first channel information, and send the feedback information to the network device.
The feedback information comprises difference information between second channel information and third channel information; the second channel information is channel information corresponding to P antennas in the first channel information among M antennas of the terminal device; the third channel information is channel information corresponding to M-P antennas among the M antennas in the first channel information.
In the above method, the terminal device does not need to feed back complete channel information, but can feed back the difference information and use a relatively small measurement reporting overhead, so that the network device can obtain complete channel information and improve the performance of uplink and downlink data transmission.
