The present application relates to the technical field of smart home appliances. Disclosed is a method for disinfecting clothes, the method comprising: acquiring travel trajectory data of a user, and determining, according to the travel trajectory data and at least one preset target place, whether clothes of the user need to be disinfected; when the clothes of the user need to be disinfected, acquiring the location of the clothes to be disinfected; and when the location of said clothes is outside a disinfection range, moving said clothes into the disinfection range by means of interacting with an external environment, so as to automatically disinfect said clothes. By means of the present application, the problem of a user carrying viruses on his/her clothes and not being able to thoroughly disinfect the clothes is solved, and the requirements of the user for disinfecting clothes after going back indoors under normalized disinfection circumstances are met. Further disclosed in the present application are an apparatus for disinfecting clothes, and an air conditioning device.
