Abstract:

The present application provides a method and apparatus for establishing a guaranteed bit rate (GBR) quality of service (QoS) stream in a session. The method comprises: a session management function (SMF) receives first information from an access and mobility management function (AMF); the SMF obtains PDU session management subscription information from a unified data management module (UDM); when a dynamic policy and charging control (PCC) is deployed, the SMF establishes, according to the first information and at least one of the PDU session management subscription information and the PDU session policy information, a default GBR QoS stream in a PDU session established by the SMF; when the dynamic PCC is not deployed, the SMF establishes, according to the first information and at least one of the PDU session management subscription information and local PDU session policy information of the SMF, a default GBR QoS stream in the PDU session. The present application can reduce the delay of GBR QoS stream data transmission.
