Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for exchanging packet data network gateway (PGW) related information. The method which may be performed by a first network entity comprises: transmitting towards a second network entity a message for requesting information relating to one or more PGWs. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, the method further comprises: receiving a response to the message which response is transmitted by the second network entity. The response indicates the one or more PGWs and includes type information of the one or more PGWs.
