Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a method and apparatus for generating a model surface texture, and a computing device and a storage medium. The method for generating a model surface texture is applied to a computing device. The method comprises: acquiring an initial model having a surface texture to be generated; partitioning a surface of the initial model, so as to obtain a partitioning result, wherein an included angle between normal vectors of any two partitions in the partitioning result is greater than an included angle threshold value, and an included angle between normal vectors at any two adjacent positions in each partition does not exceed the included angle threshold value; acquiring texture data corresponding to a wall angle of each partition in the partitioning result, wherein the wall angle of each partition is an included angle between the normal vector of the partition and the construction direction of a target additive manufacturing process, and the texture data corresponding to the wall angle is used for representing a texture feature of a surface which has the wall angle and is manufactured in the target additive manufacturing process; and generating a surface texture of each partition according to the texture data of the wall angle of each partition, so as to obtain a model with the surface texture.
