Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for indicating and searching for the position of an SSB of a defined cell, a base station, user equipment, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method for indicating the position of an SSB of a defined cell comprises: determining switch indication information which is arranged in a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) of an SSB of a non-defined cell, the switch indication information being a first numerical value or a second numerical value; if the switch indication information is the first numerical value, arranging SSB position indication information in the PBCH, the SSB position indication information being used for indicating the position of a grid or grid group where an SSB of a defined cell is located; if the switch indication information is the second numerical value, arranging gap (GAP) indication information in the PBCH, the GAP indication information being used for indicating the SSB of the non-defined cell in the current frequency band within the GAP value range using the position of the current SSB as a center; and sending the SSB to a UE. The embodiments of the present disclosure reduce the search time of a UE.
