Abstract:
In the implementations of the present disclosure, provided are a method and apparatus for managing elements in an electronic book, and a device and a medium. One method comprises: generating a block node on the basis of a paragraph in an electronic book, wherein the paragraph comprises at least one element, and the at least one element comprises at least one of a text element and a non-text element; generating a text sub-node of the block node on the basis of the text element, which is comprised in the paragraph, wherein the text element comprises at least one character; generating a non-text sub-node of the block node on the basis of the non-text element, which is comprised in the paragraph; and on the basis of the block node, the text sub-node and the non-text sub-node, generating a hierarchical structure for identifying the at least one element. In this way, each element in an electronic book can be identified by using a hierarchical structure, such that the electronic book can be managed at higher precision.
