Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for manufacturing an anisotropic conductive film. The method for manufacturing an anisotropic conductive film comprises the steps of: (a) providing a first substrate having a plurality of metal contacts; (b) providing a resin layer on the first substrate and covering the plurality of metal contacts; (c) providing a pressing component having a suction pattern corresponding to the plurality of metal contacts; (d) adhering by suction a plurality of electrically conductive particles using the pressing component; and (e) pressing the plurality of electrically conductive particles into the resin layer using the pressing component. The present invention arranges electrically conductive particles relative to contacts on a substrate, so as to reduce short circuits between the contacts, thereby improving the yield and reliability of products.
