Abstract:
Molten glass Gm subjected to state adjustment in a state adjustment tank 7 is supplied to a forming body 8, and during forming of a glass ribbon Gr, a first bent part 13 of a connection pipe 12 is connected to an outflow port 7e of the state adjustment tank 7, and a second bent part 14 of the connection pipe 12 is connected to an inflow port 8c of the forming body 8, and when the flow direction of the molten glass Gm flowing into the state adjustment tank 7 is set to a reference flow direction d0, the first bent part 13 is bent from the same direction as the outflow port 7e of the state adjustment tank 7 to a first direction d1 in the same direction as the reference flow direction d0 in plan view of the first bent part 13, and the bent part 14 is bent from the first direction d1 to a second direction d2 to the left or right of the reference flow direction d0 in plan view of the second bent part 14.
