Abstract:
This resin container manufacturing method comprises: an injection molding step for forming, by injection molding, a bottomed, cylindrical resin preform having different strength distributions in the circumferential direction thereof; and a blow molding step for producing a container by subjecting the preform to blow molding in a state in which potential heat at the time of injection molding is kept in the preform. In the injection molding step, by using an injection mold which has a partially projecting part formed in the circumferential direction of the bottom part thereof and further by changing the flow velocity and/or temperature of the resin passing the projecting part, a region that has a higher strength than the rest of the circumferential portion of the preform and that begins at a position corresponding to the projecting part is formed in the preform.
