Abstract:
The present invention ensures heat for defrosting a primary-side heat exchanger. The present invention is provided with: a primary-side refrigerant circuit (5a), which has a primary-side compressor (71), a cascade heat exchanger (35), a primary-side heat exchanger (74), and a primary-side switching mechanism (72), and which circulates a primary-side refrigerant; a secondary-side refrigerant circuit (10), which has a secondary-side compressor (21), a cascade heat exchanger (35), and usage-side heat exchangers (52a, 52b, 52c), and which circulates a secondary-side refrigerant; and indoor fans (53a, 53b, 53c) for supplying air for exchanging heat with the secondary-side refrigerant flowing in the usage-side heat exchangers (52a, 52b, 52c). When a defrosting condition is satisfied during normal operation, the indoor fans (53a, 53b, 53c) are stopped and the secondary-side compressor (21) is operated, after which a first-side refrigerant is circulated sequentially through the primary-side compressor (71), the primary-side heat exchanger (74), and the cascade heat exchanger (35).
