Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. In an embodiment, a method of performing Minimising Drive Test (MDT) of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method comprises: receiving, from a base station, a configuration including inter radio access technology (IRAT) frequencies; performing measurement on available IRAT frequencies based on the configuration; and logging the measurement results.
