Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a method and an apparatus for opening floating notifications, relating to the technical field of terminals; the method comprises: a terminal device displays a first interface, wherein the first interface comprises a first floating notification, the first floating notification being located in a first area, and the first floating notification being a floating notification initiated by a first application; when the terminal device detects that a gaze point is in the first area, the terminal device displays a second floating notification in the first interface; the second floating notification is an expanded first floating notification, and the message content in the second floating notification is more than the message content in the first floating notification; or, when the terminal device detects that the gaze point is in the first area, the terminal device displays a second interface, the second interface being a display interface in the first application, and the second interface comprising the message content in the second floating notification. Thus, the terminal device can conveniently expand a floating notification or display the application interface corresponding to the floating notification based on the gaze of the user on the floating notification.
