Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for processing a video signal, and more specifically, to a method and an apparatus for processing a video signal capable of encoding or decoding the video signal. To this end, the present invention provides the method for processing the video signal and the apparatus for processing the video signal using same, wherein the method for processing the video signal comprises the steps of: receiving a scalable video signal including a base layer and an enhancement layer; parsing an access unit in the scalable video signal; and decoding the base layer and the enhancement layer by using information in the access unit which has been parsed, wherein an NAL unit type of a base layer picture included in the same access unit as an enhancement layer picture is determined based on whether the NAL unit type of the enhancement layer picture in the parsed access unit is TSA or STSA.
