Abstract:

Provided is a recycled pellets production method, in which loss films that have not been used so far, including a thick loss film, a wide loss film and a loss film made from a material that has high hardness and therefore is less likely to be bent, can be used, and whereby it becomes possible to produce recycled pellets similar to virgin pulp.　A recycled pellets production method is provided, in which: one or more loss films (R) that are supplied continuously in one direction are twisted while stretching the loss films; a pressure is applied to twisted portions in the loss films to compress parts at which the loss films are contacted with each other, thereby forming a twisted string (R); and the twisted string (R) is cut into pieces to produce recycled pellets (P). In the method, before the twisting of the loss films (R) while stretching the loss films (R), the loss films (R) are pre-heated at the softening temperature of the loss films (R).
