Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are disclosed for supporting blockchain-based data storage in a vehicular network. The vehicular network comprises a plurality of miner nodes, at least one of which is a leader node. The method comprises: producing at a first miner node of the plurality of miner nodes, a block to store reputation-related data related to a traffic-related event queried by a vehicle in the block; sending the block from the first miner node to the leader miner node to verify a validity of the block; receiving at the first miner node from the leader node, the block verified by the leader node; and adding the block verified by the leader node to a blockchain at the first miner node.
