Abstract:

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, apparatus and system for authorizing an access point name. The method for authorizing an APN comprises: a network device determines a target APN of a user equipment (UE) and the type of an access network currently accessed by the UE; the network device acquires information about an authorization access network type corresponding to the target APN of the UE; and the network device judges, according to the type of the access network currently accessed by the UE and the information about the authorization access network type corresponding to the target APN of the UE, whether the target APN of the UE is authorized. The present invention solves the problem of inability of an operator to reasonably control an APN allowing a UE to access during APN authorization judgment in the prior art.
