Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information (UCI). In this solution, the method comprises: determining a first bit number of an HARQ to be transmitted; and transmitting the HARQ when it is determined that the first bit number is less than a threshold value and the sum of the first bit number and a second bit number is greater than the threshold value. In this solution, the HARQ is transmitted directly when it is determined that the sum of the first bit number and the second bit number is greater than the threshold value. Therefore, the defect of reduction of downlink throughput can be avoided.
