Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a method and apparatus for wireless communications. The method comprises: a first node receiving a first message, wherein the first message indicates a first time length and a first expiration value; starting a first timer at a first moment within a first time period; and when the first timer is in an operating state, monitoring first-type target signaling, wherein the duration of the first time period is equal to the first time length; whether the first moment is always the start of the first time period is related to whether the first moment depends on a behavior to monitor the first-type target signaling; and the first moment not depending on the behavior to monitor the first-type target signaling and the first moment always being the start of the first time period, or the first moment depending on the behavior to monitor the first-type target signaling and the behavior monitoring the first-type target signaling are used for determining the position of the first moment within the first time period. The present application effectively supports discontinuous reception.
