Abstract:
Provided is a Bifidobacterium bifidum strain ibiome001, which can significantly reduce the weight and white fat mass of high-fat feed-induced obese and diabetic mice, and improve the expression of lipolytic genes ATGL and HSL. The fasting blood sugar of the mice, the area under the oral glucose tolerance curve, and the plasma glycated hemoglobin and insulin amounts are significantly reduced. The strain is a potential functional strain for treating metabolic syndromes such as obesity and diabetes, and the effect is superior to that of combinations of other bifidobacterium bifidum.
