Abstract:

A glass plate working apparatus is provided with a glass plate support section (20a) of a loading conveyor (7), a glass plate support section (20b) of a cutting section (2), a glass plate support section (20c) of a bending and cutting section (4), a glass plate support section (20d) of a grinding section (3), and a glass plate support section (20e) of a take-out conveyor (8). The glass plate working apparatus is also provided with a cutting head (9), a bending and cutting device (66), and a grinding head (10) for working glass plates (5) respectively supported on the support sections (20b, 20c, 20d), and with a conveying device (89) for conveying a glass plate (5) on the support section (20a) onto the support section (20b), conveying the glass plate (5) on the support section (20b) onto the support section (20c), conveying the glass plate (5) on the support section (20c) onto the support section (20d), and conveying the glass plate (5) on the support section (20d) onto the support section (20e). The conveying device (89) repeats a reciprocating motion to progressively convey the glass plates (5) onto the support sections (20a, 20b, 20c, 20d, 20e) each time working operation of a working means is completed.
