Abstract:
The present invention relates to an assist method that is used to ensure the compliant implementation of an emission test measuring an element emitted by a motor vehicle heat engine under real driving conditions, when the implementation of the test may be disturbed by conditions external to the vehicle and influenced by a driver's driving mode. The compliant implementation of the at least one test is monitored in real time, the vehicle driver being alerted if his/her driving mode is suitable for the successful implementation of the at least one test and is to be maintained (= MAI) or if it should be altered in an aggressive manner (+ AGG) or more smoothly (+ DOU) in order to compensate for the external conditions affecting the at least one test.
