Abstract:
A method for calculating residual stress according to one aspect of the present invention is provided with: a step for preparing a measured value of residual stress at each of a plurality of locations in a metal material; a step for creating a plurality of finite element models having the same shape as the metal material; a step for setting a parameter with which it is possible to assign characteristic strain to each of the plurality of finite element models; a step for deriving, for each of the plurality of finite element models in which the parameter was set, a calculated value of residual stress at each of the plurality of locations on the basis of finite element analysis; and a step for computing the difference between the calculated value of residual stress and a measured value. After an optimal solution of the parameter is established in an optimization problem to minimize the difference between the calculated value and the measured value, the residual stress is calculated on the basis of the finite element analysis for the finite element models having the same shape as the pre-cutting metal material.
