Abstract:
A method for creating and a system for creating a raster map, the creation method comprising: establishing a Cartesian coordinate system by using an initial positioning point of a robot as an origin of coordinates (S1); establishing an initial raster unit of the raster map starting from the origin of the coordinates (S2); creating a rectangular raster map according to a walking route of the robot, the raster map comprising a plurality of raster units that use the initial raster unit as a reference point and that cover a working region of the robot; acquiring geometric center point coordinates, range coordinates and boundary parameters of each raster unit; after confirming that the robot walks along a boundary line to complete boundary learning, and confirming that the raster map covers the working region of the robot, determining whether the raster unit parameters corresponding to each raster unit are complete; and if complete, ending the creation of the raster map; and if not complete, supplementing the raster unit parameters for the raster units, and then ending the creation of the raster map. Thus, the positioning of a robot may be more precise.
