Abstract:
A method for delimiting an exploration reserved area of deep-sea polymetallic sulfide resources. The method is suitable for delimiting an exploration reserved zone for further exploration upon prospect delimitation and evaluation after seabed sulfide prospecting investigation. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, extracting prospecting marks, involving: extracting deep-sea sulfide resource prospecting marks, designating characteristics of the marks and determining grades of the marks; secondly, evaluating metallogenic prospects, involving: delineating control ranges of various prospecting marks and delimiting the prospects based on the prospecting marks; and finally, delimiting an exploration reserved area, involving: synthesizing various pieces of prospecting mark information to make a prediction, determining grades of the prospects, and sequentially taking prospects with high grades as resource reserved areas. The method is applied to the evaluation and prediction of the deep-sea polymetallic sulfide resources, and in particular to the delimiting of deep-sea polymetallic sulfide resource exploration reserved areas.
