Title:
METHOD FOR DERIVING ALDEHYDE-BASED PYRIMIDINE, METHOD FOR DETECTING 5-ALDEHYDE CYTOSINE, AND USE OF ALDEHYDE-BASED PYRIMIDINE DERIVATIVE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/155742
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a method for deriving aldehyde-based pyrimidine, a method for detecting 5-aldehyde cytosine, and a use of the aldehyde-based pyrimidine derivative. The present invention mixes aldehyde-based pyrimidine with Wittig reagent in an organic solvent and then irradiates same with ultraviolet light to obtain an aldehyde-base pyrimidine derivative; the aldehyde-based pyrimidine is 5-aldehyde cytosine or 5-aldehyde uracil. The present invention has mild reaction conditions and is fast and efficient, effectively expands the scope of application of Wittig reagent in the field of epigenetics, and also provides new ideas for the chemical labelling of aldehyde-based pyrimidine and the design of reactive 5fC fluorescent probes.
