Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an upper motor neuron from a pluripotent stem cell, and a pluripotent stem cell which can be converted into an upper motor neuron. This method comprises a step for culturing and causing a pluripotent stem cell to express exogenous Ngn2 and Fezl. This pluripotent stem cell contains in a chromosome thereof an exogenous nucleic acid encoding Ngn2 and an exogenous nucleic acid encoding Fezl.
