Abstract:
The present invention prevents erroneous detection due to noise, etc., generated by equipment on the periphery of a rolling mill, and extracts and evaluates abnormal vibration with good precision. This method for detecting abnormal vibration in a rolling mill comprises a collecting step for collecting rolling mill vibration data, a frequency analysis step for performing frequency analysis of the vibration data and generating first analysis data indicating the vibration intensity for each frequency, a data conversion step for converting the first analysis data to second analysis data indicating the vibration intensity for each pitch on the basis of a rolling speed, and a map generating step for generating a vibration map in which a plurality of second analysis data are arranged along a time series.
