Abstract:
A method for determining the number of motions and a terminal. A first terminal periodically acquires, in response to a first operation, the signal strength of a second terminal; determines, according to the signal strength acquired within a first time period, a periodical change in the signal strength; determines, according to the periodical change in the signal strength, the number of motions; and in response to a second operation, determines motion information according to the number of motions, and gives to a user a prompt of the motion information. The statistics of the number of motions does not rely on a complex posture recognition algorithm, but directly determines the number of cyclical reciprocating motions of a user during movement according to the periodical change in the acquired signal strength of the second terminal, thereby reducing the complexity of calculation of the number of cyclical reciprocating motions. In addition, after the number of paddlings of the user is counted, the user is given a prompt of the motion information, so that the user can know his/her own motion state in a timely manner, providing a guiding basis for the user's motion.
