Abstract:
A method for determining the position of a building and a terminal device, which are applied to the technical field of terminals, and which may solve the problem in the existing technology in which positioning accuracy is low. The method comprises: acquiring first position information and second position information (101), wherein the first position information is position information detected at a first time point, the first time point is a time point at which the amount of attenuation of a GPS signal is last detected to be greater than or equal to a preset change amount, the second position information is position information detected at a second time point, and the second time point is a time point at which an air pressure value is first detected to change by a target change amount; according to the second position information, the first position information, the first time point and the second time point, calculating a movement trajectory between the second position information and the first position information (102); and determining third position information from the movement trajectory and using same as position information of a building (103). The described method is applied in the scenario of determining the position of a building.
