A use of a manganese ion preparation in preparing a drug for treating tumor. As the only active component, the manganese ion is a divalent manganese ion, specifically, a combination of one or more of manganese(II) chloride or manganese(II) sulfate, manganous dihydrogen phosphate, and manganese(II) nitrate. The tumor is lymphoma.
