Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of batteries, in particular a method for determining a short-circuit point position in a battery cell. The method comprises: dividing a battery cell to be subjected to detection into at least two areas to be subjected to detection; and sequentially checking the at least two areas to be subjected to detection, so as to determine, according to an electrical characteristic of each area to be subjected to detection, whether there is a short-circuit point in each area to be subjected to detection, wherein the electrical characteristic is a current value, a resistance value, a voltage value, or a voltage drop rate. By means of the technical solution provided in the present application, a battery cell to be subjected to detection is divided, and electrical checking is sequentially performed on areas to be subjected to detection, such that a short-circuit point position can be determined in a certain area to be subjected to detection, without completely disassembling the battery cell, thereby avoiding the problems of relatively more foreign matter being introduced due to the battery cell being directly and completely disassembled, detection missing being caused by the need for quickly checking an electrode group, and it being difficult to perform re-checking due to serious oxidation.
