Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and device for coding a video by using the merger of coding units, and to a method and device for decoding a video. The present invention comprises: a step of generating merge candidates; a step of determining a merge candidate by using the generated merge candidates; a step of generating motion information of a current coding unit by using the determined merge candidate; a step of performing motion recovery by using the generated motion information; and a step of obtaining a differential signal from a bitstream.
