Abstract:
A method and device for communication. The method comprises: a terminal-side device receives a first message from a network device, the first message comprising first offset information, or the first message comprising second offset information, or the first message comprising the first offset information and the second offset information, where the first offset information is used for indicating a time offset value of a random access response (RAR) monitoring window for monitoring a RAR, the second offset information is used for indicating a time offset value for transmitting a second message, and the second message is a message transmitted by the terminal-side device on the basis of the RAR; and the terminal-side device randomly accesses the network device on the basis of the first message.
