The present application relates to the technical field of smart household appliances, and discloses a method for controlling an air conditioner. An air deflector can be opened upwards or downwards. The method comprises: acquiring an air inlet temperature of the air conditioner; adjusting the air outlet position of the air deflector and the rotating speed of a fan according to the air inlet temperature and a set temperature; when the air inlet temperature reaches the set temperature, detecting indoor relative humidity; and when the indoor relative humidity does not meet a humidity comfort condition, correcting the air outlet position of the air deflector and the rotating speed of the fan according to the indoor relative humidity. According to the method, by adjustment of the air deflector between different air outlet positions, the indoor heat exchange state can be changed, so as to adjust the relative humidity while the temperature meets requirements. Thus, the humidity can meet comfort requirements of the user to the maximum extent. The present application further discloses a device for controlling an air conditioner and an air conditioner.
