Abstract:
A method and a device for controlling downloading of a security module for a broadcast service are disclosed. According to the present invention, provided is the method for controlling downloading of the security module for the broadcast service in a user terminal connected with a service server and a security server through a network, comprising the steps of: accessing the service server to download a loader; accessing the security server through the loader; downloading a boot loader from the security server; and executing the boot loader to download the security module from the security server.
