Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of video pushing, and in particular, to a method and device for controlling new video pushing, and a server. The method comprises: receiving a new video uploaded by a user; adding the new video to an operation pool, and pushing the new video in the operation pool to users, exposure of a default value being assigned for the new video; obtaining viewing behavior data of the users about the new video, and when pushing of the new video reaches exposure of a first preset value, determining whether viewing of the new video reaches a preset value; if the viewing of the new video reaches the preset value, increasing exposure of the new video; and if the viewing of the new video does not reach the preset value, deleting the new video from the operation pool after the new video reaches the exposure of the default value. According to the present application, high-quality videos are selected from a large number of new videos uploaded by users, exposure of the high-quality videos is increased, and low-quality videos are deleted; thus better videos more popular with users can be selected and pushed to the users within limited data, thereby improving the viewing experience of the users.
