Abstract:
A method and a device for detecting a battery micro-short circuit, the method comprising: obtaining a target initial battery parameters value of a target battery at an initial time, and determining a reference initial battery parameters value of a virtual reference battery at the initial time, wherein under the same excitation conditions, a response of the virtual reference battery is the same as a response of the target battery; obtaining a target battery parameters value of the target battery at a specified time; determining a reference battery parameters value of the virtual reference battery at the specified time according to the target battery parameters value and reference initial battery parameters; calculating a difference value between the target battery parameters value and the reference battery parameters value, and determining that a micro-short circuit occurs in the target battery according to the difference value. Using the present embodiments has the advantages of being able to improve the accuracy of battery micro-short circuit detection, enhance the applicability of battery micro-short circuit detection, and reduce the battery failure misjudgment rate.
