Abstract:
The present application provides a method and device for determining a father node. The method comprises: a first node obtains father node reference information, wherein the father node reference information comprises at least one of the following: signal quality information of a wireless link between the first node and a second node, first type of indication information broadcasted by the second node, second type of indication information sent by a management node, and pre-configuration information; and the first node determines a father node according to the father node reference information. By using the technical solution, at least four solutions for determining a father node are given, and the problem of the lack of the solution of establishing a backhaul link between base stations suitable for a new system in the related art is solved. By using the methods for determining a father node and establishing a backhaul link with the father node, backhaul link data transmission between base stations or nodes is implemented. (FIG. 2)
