Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, and in particular to a method and device for determining a multimedia data sending manner, which is used for providing a solution for sending multimedia data in a flexible manner integrating broadcast/multicast and unicast. Provided is a network control device, comprising: a first module for determining a channel state of a first channel of multimedia data sent by a broadcast/multicast system and received by a user terminal, and a channel state of a second channel of multimedia data sent by a unicast system and received by the user terminal; and a second module for determining, according to the channel state of the first channel and the channel state of the second channel, that a manner of sending the multimedia data to the user terminal is: sending by means of a broadcast/multicast system, sending by means of a unicast system, or sending by means of the broadcast/multicast system and the unicast system. According to the channel state of the first channel and the channel state of the second channel, the multimedia data sending manner is determined, which is more flexible to implement.
