Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and a device for encapsulating a cell in a liquid droplet for single-cell analysis or a method and a device for forming a liquid droplet for single-cell analysis. The method and the device according to one aspect use an inertial ordering effect, thereby increasing the rate at which a single cell is encapsulated in a single liquid droplet and the yield at which liquid droplets are produced.
