Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for finding temperate bacteriophages from a whole bacterial genome sequence and a storage medium containing a program capable of executing the method. The method comprises: acquiring a whole bacterial genome sequence, clustering and aligning functional elements of temperate bacteriophages to the whole bacterial genome sequence to obtain regions of the functional elements in a clustering phenomenon as suspected bacteriophage regions, the functional elements comprising a hypothetical protein element, an infestation element, an assembly element and an unknown conserved element, finding repeating sequences at both ends of the suspected bacteriophage regions to obtain integration sites of temperate bacteriophages so as to determine sequence regions of the temperate bacteriophages, and performing genome characteristic analysis on the sequence regions of the temperate bacteriophages as bacteriophage genome sequences, and outputting sequence information of functional bacteriophages.
