Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for generating and reporting the overload indicator (OI) report, wherein the method includes: the controller jointly performs the radix conversion to the binary number used by the OI value in each physical resource block (PRB) packet indicated by the setting packet identification value; the controller converts the value generated by the radix conversion to a new binary number, and joins the new binary number in each PRB packet to generate the OI report; and the controller performs the above operations according to all the setting packet identification values, compares the bit numbers occupied by the OI report corresponding to each packet identification value, and selects the PRB packet mode corresponding to the OI report that occupies the least bit numbers as the OI format of the controller in the end. The present invention discloses a device for generating and reporting the overload indicator report as well. By applying the present invention, the system resource can be saved and the system expense can be reduced effectively.
